Audi Q5 Hybrid
Viaggiare sulla Q5 hybrid quattro significa trovarsi su un’auto di assoluta nicchia, ma permette al tempo stesso di prendere confidenza con un futuro neanche troppo lontano: se oggi come oggi il parco delle vetture a propulsione ibrida è confinato a percentuali limitatissime, nel corso di pochi anni quest’indirizzo è destinato ad affrontare un’impennata considerevole.
Ben più della sola trazione elettrica, che resta fortemente limitata dalla scarsa capacità di immagazzinamento dell’energia ed alla lentezza di ricarica. È pur vero che il prezzo delle tecnologie coinvolte incide anche nella propulsione mista termica – elettrica, ma qui l’abbattimento dei costi correlati sarà più rapido ed incisivo non necessitando fondamentalmente di grandi batterie a litio, di per sé costosissime.
Al di là delle considerazioni tecniche ed economiche, la tecnologia di una macchina ibrida nuova mette in campo continui passi in avanti ad ogni modello che si affaccia sul mercato: lo dimostra una volta di più la Q5 così equipaggiata. Come già altri modelli, è capace di garantire prestazioni alla portata solo di voluminosi propulsori a benzina o nel caso specifico del diesel più potente in listino, ma anche di offrire percorrenze di tutto rispetto, basse emissioni di CO2 e di poter marciare all’occorrenza ad emissioni zero sia pur per brevissimi tratti. E non solo. Sulla Suv tedesca, infatti, la complessità meccanica dell’ibrido appare nettamente miniaturizzata rispetto ad esempio ad una rivale comparabile di segmento come la Insight, mentre contemporaneamente vengono conservati i maggiori benefici della propulsione termica: il cambio automatico a otto rapporti ed i vantaggi di una trazione integrale meccanica, molto più efficace quando realmente serve motricità su tutte e quattro le ruote. Elementi che già da soli consentono di offrire un’esperienza di guida molto più piacevole e coinvolgente, con una semplicità d’uso pressoché a livello di quella di automobili convenzionali.
