Kia presenta la nuova Rio e studia l’ibrido
Kia, è decisamente lanciata, in Italia come in Europa, verso posizioni di mercato sempre più prestigiose. Ne è una ulteriore conferma il Salone di Francoforte dove il marchio di Seul si presenta con la sua innovativa gamma di modelli e con qualche chicca che sta a dimostrare l’importante lavoro di preparazione per i futuri modelli.
Dopo l’anteprima al Salone di Ginevra e alla vigilia della commercializzazione della nuova Rio a 5 porte, è la volta della presentazione ufficiale della versione a 3 porte che completa la gamma di un modello destinato ad essere tra i protagonisti nel popolare segmento B in Europa.
La Rio 3 porte mantiene le stesse dimensioni della 5 porte e le stesse doti di abitabilità , ma esprime una forte personalità sportiva che attirerà una nuova fascia di clientela. Sarà commercializzata nel primo trimestre del prossimo anno con una gamma di motorizzazioni analoga a quella della 5 porte.
Inoltre, la sorprendente e originalissima Soul, che finora ha raccolto 45.000 clienti in Europa, ripropone a Francoforte la sua formula alternativa con una versione evoluta nell’estetica e nella meccanica.
E poi c’è il futuro, che in Kia è già perfettamente disegnato e che porterà nei tempi più prossimi a tutta una serie di novità , anche nell’impegnativo campo dell’ibrido, capaci di rispondere al meglio alle attese della clientela soprattutto sotto il profilo dei bassi consumi e delle emissioni contenute.
Intanto, l’evoluzione continua del design Kia si esercita in un esaltante studio di berlina sportiva a quattro posti e quattro porte che prefigura un modello “premium” a trazione posteriore: il KED-8. L’estetica coraggiosa esprime tutto il dinamismo caratteristico della Kia più recenti e aggiunge particolari di pregio nell’utilizzo di materiali non convenzionali. Kia dovrà competere con Honda, sia sull’ibrido con il modello Honda Jazz hybrid, ma dovrà stare attenta anche a modelli come la Honda Accord.
